Marketing, Networking, Real Estate 2.0, Real Estate Bloggers, Social Media Marketing
Today’s web 2.0 wrap-up is from another phenomenal post by Rebecca Levinson on ActiveRain. She and I have a very similar approach to online marketing with social media, and her post Five Ways to Work the Brian Buffini Method of Pop By’s Online and Increase Your Incoming Real Estate Referrals has some really great tips. I have been a student of Brian Buffini since very early in my real estate career, and the pop-by is a tool I use in my coaching all the time. In fact, many of my blog posts are related to ideas for gifts or other reasons to pop-by and see past and potential clients.
And I try to integrate that same tool in online marketing as well. Rebecca’s blog post has some really good examples of how she is using Twitter and Facebook as a way to virtually “pop-by” her clients and stay top-of-mind. That is a question I get asked by clients a lot – “I’m on Facebook and Twitter, now what? How do I use them? Why should people care what I’m doing?”
So if you are looking for ideas on how to use Brian Buffini’s pop-by concept in your online marketing, check out Rebecca’s post. Then pick one concept, and use it this week!
