Twitter applications come in all varieties – ways to find and follow new people, ways to better manage your account, post pics, post videos, tools for blogging, and lots more. And it seems like a new one comes out every week! It can be overwhelming to try and keep up with all the new ones, but you would hate to miss out on something that could be exactly what YOU need to better utilize Twitter for your business. So what’s the answer?

There’s now a great directory for Twitter apps, all in one place, called OneForty.com. According to their website:

A lot of the usual suspects are there (TweetDeck, TwitPic, TwitterFeed, etc.) but there are also many with lots of potential that I’ve never heard of.  For example, LocaFollow would be very useful for Realtors as a way to find local people on Twitter. And for an agent that has really embraced social media, Twebevent has some interesting potential – it’s a service that lets you combine any video (live or recorded) with a Twitter chat on your chosen hashtag.

So if there’s a feature or tool you’ve been wishing for (or even if there isn’t, but you use Twitter a lot), check them out. 1855 is a huge number of applications – you never know what’s in there! I found a couple that are very handy, but probably would never have heard of if it weren’t for OneForty.com.
