Marketing, Real Estate 2.0, Real Estate Bloggers, Social Media Marketing
Have you been wondering how to end up higher in the local real estate search results? Or whether time spent blogging is really worth it? Today’s Web 2.0 Wrap-up comes from Denny Oh, posting at the Real Estate Tomato blog.
His post is a great reminder that we can’t treat our blog as an advertisement – it’s much more than that. With a blog, you should be providing the exact content your readers are looking for.
As Denny’s article states, “If you try and capture everyone through your advertising, chances are, you’re going to be extremely disappointed. With Organic Search Placement, you, the advertiser, are targeting a specific buyer/market. By blogging about specific neighborhoods, or buildings, etc, Parker states that you’re catering to “the buyers personal search for the exact thing the buyer is looking to purchase. It is a totally passive advertising strategy – bringing them to you.’”
Read through the whole post, and see if you aren’t motivated to get some new material up on your blog, catering to your local area. It’s a great reminder of how effective blogging can be for online marketing.
