Consistent Clients – Real Estate Marketing

Next in the series of Top 10 lists is my list of the Top 10 Online Real Estate Marketing Tools. A couple of these ended up in our Top 10 Web 2.0 sites, but I think they are such good tools that I wanted to add them again.

In no particular order here are my Top 10 recommended Online Real Estate Marketing Tools:

1. vFlyer - Lets you create and publish marketing flyers to many different sites

2. Animoto - Easy to create unforgettable showcase videos, and even easier to turn those videos into sales-generating marketing tools

3. Education.com School Finder Widget -Knowing a little bit about the schools in their new neighborhood is very valuable to families. Add this widget to your website or blog, and offer potential clients helpful, timely, valuable info.

4. Ping.fm/Utterz - both are tools that let you update statuses on your many different social networking profiles. Not specifically related to real estate, but allow you to speed up and simplify the marketing you do through social networks.

5. Jott - a great service that lets you send hands-free voice or text messages to yourself (or others), post to Twitter, create a new Google Calendar appointment, or even post to your Wordpress blog. A fantastic organizational and time saving tool.

6. Picasa - Not only does this Google tool give you a place to store your property photos online, it also allows you to create cool photo slide shows that you can use on your blogs and websites to showcase those properties!

7. Postlets - Lets you create a classified ad, and syndicate it to more than ten popular classified sites, one of which is next on our list…

8. Craigslist - Most of you that spend any time at all marketing online probably add listings to Craigslist, and for good reason.  It’s a great local classified site that you can add your listings to for free, and can sometimes get a great response from. Not only that, but it gives you (and your property) another place to be found online.

9. Splashup/Picnik/Photoshop Express – These are all online photo editing tools to rival some of the bigger names, like Photoshop. They allow you to apply high end filters, layer effects, and advanced text editing – allowing you to produce higher quality photos to promote your properties, without the expense of traditional photo editing software. Plus, most of them export to Flickr, Picasa, etc.

10. Squidoo - We talked about using Squidoo as a great site to post free single-property websites on, but there really is no limit to what you can use Squidoo for, with a little bit of imagination. Publish an information neighborhood site, a page specifically for people relocating to your area, a collection of your testimonials, pages for neighborhood events (pictures of Fourth of July Fireworks, Holiday decorations, etc.), or anything else you can think of!
