Weekend Web 2.0 Wrap-Up

Social Networking with Twitter?

Today’s Web 2.0 Wrap-up will introduce you to another possibility in social networking…Twitter. This site asks you to answer one simple question: What are you doing? Now, this leaves you wide open to answers such as; eating lunch at a favorite local restaurant, creating a link to your latest blog post, marketing your great new listing etc. However, the potential for networking goes so much further than all of that. Come follow me at my Twitter profile right now to get an idea http://twitter.com/ConsistentIdeas

There is an excellent post by Mari Smith, a networking pal of mine, called Twitter Buzz! Quick Tips for Business Peeps. Mari goes over the basics of Twitter, and ways to integrate the site into your social networking marketing plan. My favorite part? Twitter integrates into Facebook, and your Twitter posts go directly into your Facebook status updates. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!
