Another great way to find local people to connect with is through Twitter. While it’s not automatically a local service, there are some sites and applications you can use to target your local neighborhood. The good people over at My Tech Opinion provide a list of quite a few different Twitter sites and applications to make the most out of Twitter.
My recommendation is TwitterLocal.net. You can find local people having conversations on topics you want to target. You can make that connection, follow them to see what they’re talking about, and many will follow you. Provide timely, quality information that they’re looking for, and they’ll quickly see you as the local go-to resource for real estate matters.

Love TwitterLocal! What a great tool for finding local peeps you want to connect with…or just see who may be twittering at the table next to you! You never know!!!! I was having a cocktail downtown, checked out TwitterLocal and found a fun group of likeminded peeps sitting in the very same restaurant!

NikNik, that’s very cool! It’s such a neat way to make the world wide web just a little bit more personal. Especially when we as agents deal with local people pretty much exclusively. Thanks for stopping by!
